The staff at OU Counseling Services (CS) use their expertise in counseling, social work and psychology to create and offer outreach activities designed to prevent psychological distress and to educate students, faculty and staff about psychological concerns.

Clinicians are available to consult with students, faculty and staff who might have questions about mental health, referring someone for counseling or counseling services in general.

Consultation

If you or your organization, department, house or hall have questions of a psychological nature, CTS clinicians are available upon request for individual or group consultations. The clinicians can discuss issues with students, faculty and staff; assist with crisis situations in person or by phone, provide referral information, and provide assessment and recommendations regarding situations or events. The staff will respect your privacy and preserve confidentiality in all consultations.  ^ Top
